This playgroup offers two large rooms for children to enjoy. One of the rooms is a gym where children can ride in toy cars and trains, play basketball (with a small net) or climb and slide on a climber. The other room is for quieter activities, such as art activities, playdough, simple puzzles and reading books. This playgroup is great for children of walking age up to 6 years old. The group starts at 9:00 a.m. with free play and activities. Then we have circle time and a light snack and the playgroup ends at 10:15 a.m.

This playgroup is lots of fun for children who are of walking age up to their seventh birthday. The Gym has many of different climbing structures, riding toys, balls and room to run around. A light snack is offered. This group runs from 5:30p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and is great for working families.

This playgroup is one large room where children can ride bikes, climb through tunnels or build with blocks. We also have tables set up for art activities and playdough. We have a short circle time with songs and books and light snack. Infants to preschoolers will enjoy this group. This group runs from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Tuesday Berkshire Nursing Families Group at Haskins Community Center

This group is for nursing families and their babies. It is facilitated by Berkshire Nursing Families staff and is a great opportunity for nursing mothers to bring their babies and get answers to questions and share tips or concerns about their breastfeeding infants. The group starts at 10:00 and runs for 1 1/2 -2 hours.

This group is a chance for new parents to meet with other new parents and share the joys and challenges of a new addition to the family. Debbie Windover facilitates the group, answers questions and gives referrals related to newborns. The group sometimes has special topics and speakers and has a "circle time" for parents and babies. This group is at 10:00 a.m.

Friday Baby Group at Haskins Community Center

This is an opportunity for parents with young babies (ages birth-1 year) to get together with other parents to swap information and concerns.The babies get a chance to play in a friendly and safe space that features many infant toys. This group is at 10:00 a.m.
